years of stable management experience. The barn consists of 36 stalls on
20+ acres with an attached indoor rubber/sand ring, outdoor sand arena,

a need within the equine community to network hard to place horses that
were not able to find sanctuary in over crowded rescue organizations in
New England. As an organization, the mission has expanded. Today, NEER
actively rescues horses from a variety of situations, including owner
surrenders, abuse and neglect situations, and horses at risk for
slaughter. NEER provides sanctuary and rehabilitation in foster homes
with the intention of adoption into new families as appropriate. NEER
works closely with, and for, other traditional equine rescue
organizations, assisting with fundraising efforts and equipment
donations."
