OPEN LETTER TO ALL PIPESTAVE HILL HORSE TRIALS SUPPORTERS FROM AMY BRESKY, MANAGER
RETIREMENT FROM MANAGEMENT
After 16 truly fun-filled years, I have decided to retire from show management of the Pipestave Hill Horse Trials, to focus more time on my own competition and training schedules. It would a shame to see the events end because I am no longer the manager, so I (and the whole WNRDC Board) is hoping that there is a person or a team of people interested in running the two events. I would be happy to train anyone interested, and there is a complete job description written with a detailed time line.
I have had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful people, and right now there are excellent teams handling different aspects of the events who will be continuing next year. We currently have Sarah Robinson with the Pentucket Pony Club as Cross Country Management, Melissa Maina as Secretary/Scorer and Kathryn West-McLeod and Kathy Feehery as Stadium Jumping Management. These people are enthusiastic and very good at their jobs, which makes management so much easier. I will also continue to work on maintaining the facility at Pipestave and will give all the support and training I can to a new manager or team. If you have any interest, please contact me at 978-270-3880 or amybresky@yahoo.com and I would be happy to give you more information.
My personal thanks to each and every one of you who have volunteered, competed or supported over the years. Your generosity of spirit has meant so much and I hope the WNRDC is able to continue these events with the quality we have always been known for.
All the best-
Amy |
