DESCRIPTION:Join us for a thrilling and elegant day of equestrian sport at the beautiful Pipestave Hill Equestrian Area as the West Newbury Riding and Driving Club (WNRDC) proudly hosts its inaugural Hopeful Hunter Derby! \nSet for an exciting “Hunt and Go” format\, this derby blends the tradition of the show ring with the adventure of the hunt field. Each round features a seamless ride from Classic Hunter-style fences (Jumps 1-7) to Field Hunter challenges (Jumps 8-13) — spanning two rings to test rhythm\, ride-ability\, and style. \nWhether you’re stepping into the derby ring for the first time or aiming to polish your ride in a fun and supportive atmosphere\, this is an event for all levels. \nRibbons are awarded 1-6 per division. \nSpectators welcome! Come enjoy the scenic setting\, cheer on local riders\, and experience the charm of Pipestave Hill. \nRide the course. Embrace the challenge. Celebrate the journey. \nHopeful Hunter Derby participates in the Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.). \nWNRDC is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.
