Hello all!
For those of you new to the Pipestave event, WNRDC holds an annual Cleanup Morning where the XC fences get weed whacked, brush trimmed, raked, checked for repairs to be made, etc. This is truly one of those times when many hands make light work. Come join us! Saturday is going to be full of lovely work weather: 72 degrees at start, we’ll get what needs doing done, and get you all home before temps rise. Light snacks and water, and a box o joe will be provided!
All you need is gloves, maybe something to kneel on, and we do ask that each bring their own tools (weedwhacker if you have one; rakes, clippers, loppers, a sledge often comes in handy; maybe a shovel too.) Sue Beliveau is putting a list of tasks that each fence or pathway needs.
PLEASE bring bug spray and sunscreen! And a chair. Remember, ground bees may be present too.
We will meet at 9AM at the Mill Pond parking area.
